Sales Executive - Arabic Speaker

What we are looking for

The role focuses on having a sound knowledge of IFP events to generate client interest, qualify prospects, and close deals in the Qatari market.

 

Your main tasks will be

  • Develop strong knowledge of each show within assigned portfolio using all available marketing collateral
  • Identify and get new business via outbound calls or face to face meetings on a daily basis and maintain accurate sales data on the CRM
  • Sell exhibition space and value added products such as sponsorship or advertising opportunities to both previous and new exhibitors
  • Build and maintain a targeted marketing list using the CRM tool for each show
  • Coordinate with the database team where needed for maintaining an accurate and up-to-date client database
  • Coordinate with the Operations team for all show related floorplan updates and onsite to ensure the smooth running of the event
  • Provide accurate weekly sales activity and pipeline report to the direct manager
 
Do you have what it takes? 
 

Education: BS/BA degree required

 

Experience: 2 to 3 years in a b2b sales role, preferably in events. Tele sales/telemarketing experience is a plus

 

Language: High Proficiency in English and Arabic. French is a plus

Procurement and Collection Specialist

Job Role:


Develop the collection and procurement on a group level in coordination with GMs, PMs, and operations, Heads of departments and closely follow up on collection and procurement activities.

Duties Summary


1)Collection

  • Follow up with clients on payments
  • Act as a link between sales and accounting
  • Prepare the doubtful payments file and transfer doubtful cases to the lawyer as needed
  • Provide financial auditors with all data needed under the supervision of the Group Financial Controller

2)Periodic Reporting

  • Generate and update regular aging reports
  • Coordinate with the Group Financial Controller to build the collection and contract management database and implement them with IT

3)Procurement

  • Source suppliers for general services and for event related services
  • Send out request for proposals
  • Prepare tabulations for decision making on bids
  • Participate and take minutes in the procurement committee
  • Coordinate with the lawyer on the contract drafting with suppliers

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years in a similar role

Brand Manager

What we are looking for:

 

We are looking for a champion to develop the overall marketing strategy for the assigned brand portfolio to meet customer acquisition goals. You will be responsible for managing the brand team while handling brand management, event campaign management and execution, market knowledge development, data management, and marketing analytics and reporting.
 
 
What will you do?
 
Market Knowledge
-   Develop understanding of each event within the brand portfolio
-   Gain a good understanding of the individual markets that IFP operates in
-   Leverage market intelligence to generate new events, anticipate targets’ needs, and understand exhibitors’ buying criteria
-   Monitor competition and industry news
 
Brand Management
-   Define customer segments and create profiles for targeted audiences
-   Identify the key selling points of each event within the brand portfolio
-   Develop event positioning and messaging and create brand identity
 
Campaign Management and Execution
-   Contribute in creating and implementing marketing strategies with the Head of Marketing to increase audience engagement across all platforms (online and offline collateral, conferences, exhibitions, etc.)
-   Prepare and manage the marketing and action plan for the brand
-   Oversee the promotional and media plan covering pre, during and post-event activity
-   Develop and execute exhibitors and visitors acquisition programs
 
Cost Control
-   Set and manage the marketing budget for the brand/portfolio with the Head of Marketing
-   Manage revenue goals, channel mix, target setting, and marketing budget and forecasting across different channels
 
Data Analysis & Reporting
-   Define, develop, and oversee metrics, campaign reporting, and segmentations lists for online and offline campaigns
-   Contribute in developing the data acquisition strategy for exhibitors and visitors
-   Contribute in the CRM database building and maintenance
 
Team Collaboration
-   Work cross functionally on acquiring and retaining key customers
-   Collaborate with IT on implementing new marketing tools and processes
-   Recruit, oversee, train, and evaluate the performance of team members within the brand portfolio
 
Do you have what it takes?
  • 5 to 6 years’ experience in a similar position covering the full marketing mix
  • Experience in B2B marketing and event marketing is preferable
  • Proven use of CRM databases and segmentation techniques
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools and design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), Google AdWords and Google Analytics is desirable 
  • BS /BA required
  • English requires. French and/or Arabic are a plus
